He will unite all of the packs in the United States under him and allow all supernatural creatures to live in harmony. 10 years ago now, word spread of the white wolf returning. It isn't his number one priority, but the alpha knows what a great ally it would be. When rogues threaten the bounder of Arizona and are harming the indigenous tribes he promised to protect, Alpha Crane journeys to the border only to find his mate, the white wolf. Marlowe knows that she is a weapon of destruction. Her parents remind her daily of why she needs to remain hidden, only to be used in battle. Her father's enemies and intruders to the Harper pack never live to tell anyone where she is and what pack she belongs to. The pack has no allies. They do not accept outsiders. They are virtually alone and people wonder where their strength comes from. Is it the witch living within their bonds, it is their blended pack of coyotes and wolves? No one knows. But the pack has one issue, Alpha Brown only has Marlowe, no male heirs. Marlowe and her family are left with a decision to merge with Alpha Crane's Crescent Moon pack or bend the rules and let Marlowe take over. While love is in the air for many of the leaders in these packs, scientists have gotten more bold with their interests in supernatural creatures. One scientist has taken an interest in the creatures that possess magical abilities and has built labs all over experimenting on them. While half the team takes on search and rescue the other half deals with negotiations and merger deals with the remaining territories across the U.S. Things get dicey when they discover not everyone will yield peacefully.

Three girls starting at Maverick High. Each one has a unique secret that each keeps from everyone else they know. By fate, they were destined to be best friends: or worst enemies. Tsuki Hayashi is a sophomore at the high school, but her age is deceiving. Her eyes reflect more than she could ever know, and her cold elegance hides a storm. She's inherited the power of the moon, and she sees everything than happens in the night. But when she discovers the Sun and Star Guardians, she doesn't know what it will bring. (ATH) Alena Sandrum is also a sophomore at the high school. She inherited the power of the stars, beautiful and kind, but also distant. She finds comfort in her books and rarely speaks. But her eyes that absorb her surroundings and the words on the page, speak for them selves. Could these girls help her accomplish her destiny. Or destroy it? (AQ) Eliana Morane is an average sophomore, at least that's how she perceives herself. Sweet, bubbly and perky, her personality is just a ray of sunshine. Yet that metaphor may be a little more literal than she expects. When she learns that she is just a small puzzle peice in a bigger picture, she intends to meet her other fellow puzzle pieces, but they may not understand her light personality for they are shroud in darkness. Young veterinarian, Mavis Rogers, has two goals for her new career- don't kill anything and don't reveal to her mentor that she can talk to animals. Because the universe has a twisted sense of humor, she accidentally kills her first patient and discovers that her hard-ass, temperamental mentor, Alex Dodd, can also talk to animals. He introduces Mavis to Aurora, a secret organization of elves who report to Nicholas at the North Pole (yes, that Nicholas). They're humans with the genetic ability to use magic and are duty-bound to protect unsuspecting non-elven humans from rogues. Forced into serving Aurora, Mavis is thrown into a war against an army of rogues led by ex-Aurora elf, Beau Tanner. Mavis learns that she alone possesses the magic powerful enough to stop Beau, but lacks the confidence to use it. If only her mentor wasn't such an asshole. Lucinda Morales is a Type A Adderall addict who takes offense at being given orders. Her parents ordered her to use her degree in chemistry to become a medical doctor, so she became a wildlife biologist instead. When she discovers that her new job with playboy nature documentary host, Kevin King, is a ruse to lock her into Aurora's servitude, she carves a path that none of her teammates anticipate. What Lucinda lacks in power, she makes up for with her intelligence and tenacity, and there are no limits to how far she will go to obtain that power. If only her mentor paid attention. Animals call Aurora elves the Good Ones, but how can battle lines be drawn when "good" is open for interpretation?
