There's not many words to sum up Valerie Clark. A disappointment to her grandparents, and the absolute opposite of how you'd think she would be. She's rich, but she's not stuck up like all of her grandmothers friends and kids. She hates that life, but she also knows her way around it. She pretty much avoids it, until her grandmother pulls her from her public school to go to a prestigious private school, Oakwood Academy. Not only is the school a part of the life she tries her best to escape from, but there's this boy that she meets on her first day. His name is Chris, and he's cocky, annoying, and will not leave her alone. She hates him, or atleast she thinks she does.
