This poem is meant to be from the point of view of someone who has recently been dumped, and has basically been left with no explanation, and they begin to realise that they can move on and they do not need another person to complete them. The poem is quite short, but i hope it portrays what i have written above.
This is a poem i have written for my college graded unit, i don't usually write poems so i have no idea if i have done this properly or if it is any good, but if i received some feedback positive or negative that would be great :)

Falling, Still
"What does it mean to love someone who doesn't love you back? To wait, to hope, to wonder if love can change the way the stars align?" This is not just a story,it's a journey. A raw, intimate recollection of love that bloomed in silence, of moments that lingered too long in the spaces between friendship and something more. It's about patience, about the ache of wanting, and the quiet magic of the unexpected. But this isn't a tragedy. This is a love story. A story of persistence, of quiet longing turned into something real;of two souls finding their way to each other against all odds. Some love stories are loud, written in fireworks and grand gestures. This one was whispered..written in stolen glances, unsaid words, and the kind of love that waits. If you've ever loved, lost, or wondered what it means to hold on-this is for you.
Complications
Is it a love story? Maybe. It would be clearly defined as 'complicated'... It's hurtful and confusing, yet, my thoughts puzzle me with each step I take...all I wonder is how it would be and what it'll end up like. Is what I'm doing right?

A Forever That Lasted
"Everything I need is here," he whispered in my ear. I looked into his eyes, only to see me in them. He pulled me closer; we were just inches away from each other his breath was fanning my face. I could hear our heart beat in a rhythm, being this close to him; I could feel his heart hammering in his chest. His grip tightened around my waist as he placed his other hand on my cheek. My hands were on his chest, holding his shirt which seemed like my only support as my knees felt like jelly! It seemed so magical. We were so lost in each other, he leaned closer and my eyes shut automatically.
