A seemingly average student, who fits in with everyone but doesn't connect with anyone. Able to appear without making a stir and leave the same way. Average in looks and height. 

There is nothing about him that should merit Ash's attention. 

Questions for consideration: 
If he is so average, why does Ash find him interesting?

Why can't she make sense of him? 

Most importantly, why did she ever decide to get involved?
