Oh, what I'd give to be young once more. To fly without worry. To fly free. -From God of Flame.

I started my writing journey quite opposite to most, because I began writing novels. In fact, I didn't write my first short fiction piece until 2020 during my MFA. And I found it incredibly tough to write short pieces. I kept practicing and found a love-weirdly enough-for flash fiction. There's something so satisfying about a little snippet below 1,000 words that somehow tells a story and conveys so much emotion it might burst.
