*Also, the Tuukka Rask in this story is (obviously) a fictionalized version of the former Bruins goaltender. Same with Adam Morrison, a goaltender formerly with the Providence Bruins of the AHL. Tuukka Rask has a wife and kids, and idk about Adam Morrison but I assume he is straight in real life. This is just a story and I mean no harm to any characters based on real people.*

This is certainly not 35-year-old Tuukka Rask's first cruise, but it will definitely be his favorite. Tuukka has booked a luxury suite for himself, his daughter Sinikka, and his best friend Adam on the maiden voyage of the Titanic II, a replica of the original that is identical to its ancestor save for a few modern adjustments. Thanks to the new safety features and added lifeboats, Tuukka believes that this will be the best vacation of his life. He is ready to just relax and have fun on the marvelous, beautiful Titanic II.

Eluta Talvik, the soul of the MS Estonia, has it all. She's just played Cosette in her high school's production of Les Mis, she's earning outstanding grades in every class, and she has a wonderful boyfriend. Now, the almost 18-year-old Eluta and her boyfriend are about to set sail on a ship that is said to be just as magnificent as the first Titanic, and far safer too.

But what happens when one of the engines unexpectedly malfunctions and explodes? What happens when Tuukka decides to stay on the injured liner to try to save passengers who are in danger, leaving behind his friend (who he may be having some more-than-friendly feelings for) and his daughter? What happens when Eluta gets separated from her boyfriend Jamie and can't find him anywhere?
