From a tender age, he harbored a deep-seated desire to pursue a career in education. Growing up in Texas, he witnessed firsthand the profound impact that teachers could have on the lives of their peers and the wider community. After completing high school, Jerry enrolled at East Texas Baptist University, graduating in 1993. Fueling his passion for learning and personal growth, he later pursued a Master's in Education from Lamar University in 2002.
