Almost as soon as the young and aspiring Lieutenant Detective arrives, he is put on a case that has to do with three escaped patients from the local Mental Asylum, Mother of Mercy.

The odd part of this tale has to do with how the three asylum patients purportedly escaped--From the very roof itself.

And, how, in the midst of a late Autumn storm, no bodies were found anywhere in the forested grounds below.
