Caspian decides to participate in the Beseech Games, a competition created by Carmine, an eighteen-year-old girl who has the power to grant wishes, to save the life of his sister who suffers from a degenerative disease and doesn't have much time left. For Caspian to win in this ruthless game, which scores change according to the feelings of the host, whose objective remains a mystery until the last round; he will have to compete with competitors with wishes as pertinent as his in rounds that transit from the real to the unreal, as cursed mazes or a board game within a child's imagination, besides fighting for space in Carmine's heart. The big problem is that Carmine is known throughout New York as a very selfish person who only looks out for number one. If neither money nor prestige buys her wishes anymore, only finding out her weakness will guarantee a spot in the final, and by all means, Caspian's sister's life.
