Elara Ivarsdottir is an alert, fast and extremely deadly Dane! She slashes her victims without them hearing her coming and leaves their bodies drained of blood! Her older brothers Sigtryggr and Rognvaldr left their village and sailed for Ireland! She wanted to go with them, but their father forbid her! 

So Elara sat in their village on the outskirts of Danish Northumbria and made new weapons! Her mother braided her hair and watched her practise her craft! When news came one day that her older brother Rognvaldr had met his death on the cliffs of Ireland, her mother and father lost their minds and days later their lives!

Elara was now all alone in their village and knew nothing to do with her life! So she decided to travel to Winchester! Once there, she met a group of warriors and vowed never to befriend them! She laughed at their puny attempts to befriend her and quickly learned to hate their Lord!

But when one day a battle is imminent and she has to fight side by side with Uhtred and his men, butterflies form in her stomach and she reconsiders hating him! He was her rock in this battle and had it not been for him, she would probably be dead! His men Finan, Sihtric and Osferth made it their business to tease them! Uhtred and Elara only had to raise their eyebrows and the three men fell silent...

Was this the beginning of a love story that seemed impossible at the beginning?

However, when doing the spell Andrea was interrupted by a newborn rogue vampire which caused her to fall from the cliff dead when fighting them. When she next woke up she was in the body of her other universe self who died in a car crash and had both lives memories. Meanwhile her old friends and family watch her new life in Beacon Hills.
