Everything went all according to plan. Lei successfully broke up the Syndicate and saved the life of Steve Fox, and regained his honor. Lei's normal life was finally starting to return. However, before Lei could celebrate his victory, he now has to pursue a new investigation: exposing the corruption of the Mishima Zaibatsu. With the help of a new informant, Lei now sees this as the opportunity to finish what he started 20 years ago. This story begins right after Lei's Tekken 4 ending.
