Eliza Stars is back in her hometown where no one remembers her. Not even her ex best friend. She's not surprised though cause she left when she was seven but she still remembers them they just look different now. Her crush Josh has got hot over the years but he probably wouldn't notice her anyways. Eliza is a nerdy girl with long brown hair and blue eyes. She is a little curvy but for the most part she's skinny and quiet. So she thinks no one will notice her. She still has to hide things from everyone like the bruises and cuts from her stepdad. Not to mention the cuts she makes herself.
Josh Jacobs was in a situation that he didn't know how to explain to girls. Basically he was having sex with his best friend aka Jackson not because he was gay and he didn't want anyone to know why. So he fucked Josh to blow off steam. The one thing that caught his eye was the new girl. She looked familiar too but he couldn't remember how he knew her. He knew she wouldn't be interested because he's a jock on the outside but geeky on the inside. Josh was tall with short black hair and blue eyes. Even though he had a lot going for him he thought no one would understand his situation.

I never thought my life would be like this; trapped in a dark room and scared for my life. A blindfold was wrapped around my head, covering my eyes, making me completely blind and on high alert. The book starts at a point when Lola has parked her car by her b/f's gym, waits in the car, hoping to see him when he exits the building. She knows what she doing is wrong, and she shouldn't do that, but she is not in control of her emotions, and it is quite the opposite. She feels she needs to see him and to talk to him. And while she waits, all kinds of thoughts are going through her head: "I have a feeling he is seeing someone. I don't want to think about what I'm gonna do to him!" and shortly after: "Maybe I should just leave before he sees me? No! I can't. When you are rolling off a cliff you just can't stop. I guess you need to feel the bottom. The only problem - you don't know where that bottom is." And she is trying to analyze how is it that she got attached to him so quickly and so strongly: "What has he done to me? Is it some kind of a spell? How could I get so attached to him so soon? Is this how true love is supposed to feel? Losing yourself in someone, completely? Or is that just the stupid me?" At this point, the reader may get the impression that Lola is the type of girl that rarely gets the attention of attractive men, and this is why she behaves like that. To their surprise, it turns out that this is not the case. Lola is a tall and astonishingly beautiful woman. She is fun and sarcastic. Men are flocking around her trying to get her attention. And of course, she is not flawless, just like anybody else. And the man she is stalking is just an average guy.. But we don't want to spoil you the whole story. This is a love story has passion and sex in it, as well as fights and misunderstandings. And the main question remains: will Lola succeed in getting him back, or her attempts will only backfire?
