"You're back..." Knuckles gently press themselves against your cheek, like a feather touching you. As if you're fragile, it doesn't even try to press further. "I know it's you... I just know." The voice reassures itself, but it sounds like it's close to tears. "I'll keep you safe this time. I promise..." It speaks softly.

And so, MK set off to try just that. It was a short conversation, but one that would change how he would see himself from then on. Who would've guessed being a monkey was so fun?
