It is a time of peace in the empire of Leomeria. A thousand years ago, humankind defeated the Khar Uzad, the brutish remnant of a once magical and thriving civilization. Humanity pushed them to the other side of the Thyrgal Mountains, where the city of Drendham has held the line ever since.
