Romance
Over achieving Skylar Campbell has been able to do anything she set her mind to. Her one goal in life was to leave her criminal past behind and become a big city prosecutor straight out of law school. With her near perfect LSAT scores and perfect law school grades, she was promised a job along with her first big case right after she graduated. Now six months into her dream career she decides to do the impossible and take down the biggest crime family in her city, the Auclair family. Skylar struggles with building a case against the family and starts to believe she found the one thing she couldn't do. Then suddenly there's a break in the case. The head of the Auclair families illegitimate son Lucien is arrested after being abandoned by his family members when a job went wrong. Lucien, outraged at the betrayal and scarred after years of his fathers abuse decides to help skylar and testify against his family. What Skylar doesn't know however, is that Lucien plans on taking over the crime family once his father is imprisoned, and using his new found power to destroy the city. Both Skylar and Lucien believe they are finally about to get what they've always wanted. What they didn't count on though, was being forced to live together. Since both of them now have a price on the heads, they are forced to live together in a weird form of witness protection. At first Skylar and Lucien share a mutual hatred for eachother. But as they are forced to work together and are locked in the same four walls with eachother, they discover that the others darkness complements their own, and the attraction growing between the two of them begins to destroy them both.

I wrote this story a while back and only recently decided it re publish it. It has a mostly complete ending, the storyline hangs a little but you get the idea and all, I just got so exhausted and couldn't finish so I'm sorry for the bad grammar and incompletion. ❤️ ** "Out of all the absurd things I've heard humans say about love these have to be the most ridiculous; I've heard people say love is why we die, some part of me thought that that was absurd the other part knew it was true, that's why the only thing in this world I really care for is hate . The second one, is that is you love someone you don't give up, till death due us part, bullshit right," I never believed either of those things until I met him, he made me want to give up and keep fighting at the same time. ** This enemies to allies to lovers story follows the head of the Italian mafia, a woman, Ravenna Daniela Moretti, but nobody knows that, they all know her as Sovrana della morte, meaning ruler of death, she has made it a crucial point to hide her identity, not even the close circle of mafia know her, until her identity as well as very important information is at risk when the 4 inner mafia circle are hacked by a group of Russian hackers, she is forced to team up with the 3 other dons of mafia, America, France and Spain she reveals her identity to them. Only to have the head of the French mafia realize that he was given stripper a few nights ago when Ravenna was undercover, they now have to pretend nothing happened and ignore their undeniable attraction as well as 6 years of burning hatred in order to defeat a bigger problem.
