Oliver white is an outcast in a werewolf pack of all places. Usually in the normal world the wolves would be the outcasts, but even in our normal world he would be an outcast. He's known to be human throughout the pack and is constantly reminded of that fact through the bullying. The worst thing about being human is that he's one of the sons of the alpha of the pack. 

On his 17th birthday he finds out that something has awakened and is coming out in dangerous bursts. So dangerous that a neighbouring more powerful pack has to intervene.

They follow her scent to a nearby lake and capture her. She is taken to their pack house, and meets her mate.
