Mercenary group Titan have been known to cause trouble on the colony planet of Exort. Until one day they are approached by a man from the central planet. Turns out, one of the members is a royal. Luckily for Nemesis, he isn't here to tell her she's queen. Her niece is. 

Unfortunately, fourteen year old Estelle is far from ready to rule the Galaxy. So it falls to Nemesis to become her niece's advisor. At first, the task seems ridiculously boring for a group of talented killers, but suddenly the queen becomes the target of a series of professional assassination attempts. 

Perhaps Titan really are cut out for the regal life.

Titan growls dipping his head to my neck and breathing deeply. "Come on Meme." Dad says holding his hand out to me. He looks worried. Will Titan hurt me? I thought mates couldn't hurt each other? Titan pulls me tighter to him. "Titan! Let her go! You're hurting her!" As soon as dad says that I feel Titan loosen his grip slightly. I turn so that I can look up at him and place my hand on his face forcing him to focus on me instead of my dad. When he finally looks in my eyes he seems worried. "I'm ok." I whisper trying to calm him... "you can let me go." He growls again and seems to panic at the thought of losing me. "Mine!" Titan says. Dad tries to reach for me. When Titan sees his movement he pulls me away from my dad and growls again "Mine!" He says desperately trying to keep me close to him. "He's my dad, Titan... he won't hurt me." I try to soothe the beast. I don't really want to let him go but I know if this goes on much longer Titan will get hurt. "Mine!" He growls softly, nuzzling his nose into my neck. "Yours." I whisper pulling away so I can hold his face. "But I need to go to my dad right now... please Titan." I beg him. He looks over to my dad who is still holding out his hand expectantly then looks back to me. With a nod he let's me go and I take my dad's hand. "Take him!" Dad commands as he pulls me away. Many men tackle Titan to the ground.

"Children, you've made a groundbreaking discovery! I can't say for certain what it is, but we need to call someone right away!" He turns around and faces us. "Your going to go down in history kids! I can't believe you actually-" Before he can finish his sentence six thick orange arms reach out of the hole and grab him at a sickening speed. He doesn't even have time to blink before the arms squeeze and his whole body explodes. Guts and blood shower the room and we all scream in horror. We run towards the door but all of a sudden the floor seemingly gives way into a bright blue nothingness and the room shimmers away around us. We fall. ' Europa follows a group of teenagers/aspiring scientists who accidentally open a portal to another world, becoming trapped there. They must race against time to make it home, save themselves and their planet before the natural elements or horrifying other worldly creatures take them out.
