Kai is a college student from America who has a rather sheltered background and had a strict upbringing. In order to progress in his studies he needs to study abroad for at least one semester required to obtain his degree in international business. Although initially having a country in latin america in mind due to his prior education in spanish, he ends up choosing a less conventional country at the time, Korea. Not knowing much of the culture, the language, and the area, he takes a leap of faith as a result of a desire to escape his life at home. Who will Kai meet, what will Kai do, and what will Kai get himself into?
