Black Dawn City was once a peaceful place, rich with culture, wealth, and technology. But all cities have a large looming shadow: Corrupted law and injustice roam the streets; dangerous men have their grip on powerful industries and politics; a secret organization tries to awaken ancient forces and spread chaos; and a divine being tries to make a comeback. This triggers a war: A War in The Shadows. And in the middle of all this, a few outlaws and misfits try to find their way through this chaos. But sooner or later, they'll have to recall their demons and face the bloodshed and join the war.
This is a story with no heroes, a story where fate is defied, where there is no line between good and evil, and where all is grey.

The Sparda Twins make their way back to the shop, and are reunited with Nero, Trish, and Lady. Vergil sees Nero happy with Kyrie, and realizes he can't get Nero's forgiveness after what he did. So what does he do? He starts over, and finds love again. The katana wielding brother settles down with another woman, and has a second son for himself, one he will spend his time with, Y/N Sparda. However, being the Son of Sparda, there were still Demons that slipped through cracks of the Twin's Seal, and broke into the house, attacking the woman before being killed by Vergil. Heartbroken, he finds his son still alive, and in his mother's arms crying. Vergil vows to never let his son experience weakness like he did.
