Life is kinda boring and alright at the same time. Everything still seems to be normal though. The pandemic might change all of our lives once quarantine starts. In this life-questioning tale, it follows a journey of mine from the day before it all began to the day when things change so suddenly, experiencing the first part of quarantine. This story explores how the pandemic could possibly change someone's life and write what it means to live in a transformative world.

I have decided to force myself to write every day. I've tried to start a novel countless times, so I have reached the conclusion that it's better to write short stories. I was looking for Short Story challenges to make it exiting, and I found one that I liked; writing one micro fiction story each day, it doesn't matter how many words it has or what it is about, but, I have to finish one every day. I decided this was the best moment to start, it being march of 2020, and me being in quarantine with nothing to do. This is why this book exists, each day I will write a piece of micro-fiction and post it in this book. I believe that I will get better through time if I follow this challenge. Some day I may decide to stop it, though hopefully it will be in a long time. From a simple conversation happening between two Filipina astronauts, to an individual confessing his true feelings to the person he loves, to a failed missing person's investigation and the lover searching for his whereabouts in the Philippines, to a story about the woeful memories surrounding a rabbit plushie in the United Kingdom; a conversation happening between people at night with a campfire, about spirits and passion, in Norway; to a dying animal's thoughts about the person that saved it, to the letters given to the person that matters to one's life, to a man trapped in a cursed town and more. These 30 stories compiled in the months of August 2023 - February 2024, made in handwritten yellow pad papers and shared to the world for the first time shows that there are ways we find to connect with others through the stories we tell to one another. Stories dealing with the loss of a loved one, the horrors of reality, about the challenges faced in life, a longing for the person we loved, the laughter shared in-between, the hopes we treasure for tomorrow and beyond and of the little interactions that happen in life. It is through the attachments, love, support, consistency, determination and dreams do we find the will to push through and accomplish what needs to be done that is set out for us to tackle. Goals and art; sacrifices made and understood; and the belief that chasing the dream is all worth it and that it helps us connect and inspire us to do what matters the most. I frowned when I realized a high-school student? I can say because she's wearing a uniform. What is a beautiful high-school girl doing here knocking at my door? I asked mentally. I was about to ask her when she suddenly slipped inside my condo and sit on the couch cozily, I crossed my arms and face her still frowning. "Miss what are you doing here? What do you need?" I asked her curiously. She looked at me and smiled, a smile that can make men drool, but I'm not because I'm still annoyed. "I am your girlfriend" she said sweetly, my eyes widened in shock, I know I'm drunk last night but I don't remember having a girlfriend. I was about to say something when she stood up and face me leaning so much closer that were inches apart. "You wished for me, last night on the internet" oh crap! Now I remember! I was browsing the net when a certain ad captures my attention. "But I wished for a BOYFRIEND! Not a Girlfriend!!?" How do you handle a situation where there's NO REFUND and NO EXCHANGE?
