They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it. Everyone around her had some sort of magic, but they all were compatible with who they were. Molly's mother had died in a fire for Aglea's sake! (Note: Aglea is a goddess who's name just happens to resemble a Greek goddess. They're very different.) Jax was the son of a rich blacksmith, who shocked everyone by developing water powers, and strong ones at that. When the two meet, they go on a journey to save Molly's village from a witch who wants their magic for her own. If they can't stop her, her icy grip will smother the world. Will something other than friendship develop over this trip? Only time will tell. (I don't own the cover image if you know who it belongs to, tell me so I can credit them. Also, you have no idea how tempting it was to put Fire Boy and Water Girl as the cover. I mean, reversed genders, but still.) Some of the magic bits are heavily based off of ATLA.
