When I was younger, I used to believe that the world that we lived in was nothing but sunshine and rainbows. But I outgrew those rose-colored glasses, and learned that no matter what you choose to believe, no matter what you think might be reality, it always ends up being the opposite.
I was two weeks away from graduation, eighteen and young, and still had a life before me.
Unfortunately, the world we live in is cruel and fucked up. And just when I learned that the world wasn't a fairytale, it did a one-eighty and ended up being one.
