Imagine being dragged away from England to start life anew in a completely different location, elsewhere. Take America, for instance.

Well, that's the case for Mikayla Evans. For the first few years of her childhood, until age 12, Mikayla lived in New York. Due to her mother's sudden love interest, they shifted their entire lives to London.
Life's all good, well great in fact. After settling in, the years proceed in her making friends and even having a boyfriend! Now Mikayla is 17 years old, and being whisked away- back to her New York life. A consequence of her very heartbroken mother. What's it like to have your life snatched from your grasp? What's it like to have to leave everything and everyone behind?

It definitely doesn't help when your mother acts as if everything is perfectly alright, when it most certainly isn't. One of the biggest indicators of life's uncertainties is when you're forced into attending a blind date gathering. Especially considering the fact you and your boyfriend haven't officially broken up yet. Make sense? Well of course not!
