Squad Love (Quad Squad & DAGames X Girl Squad)
So... this is a different approach to some fanfiction that I've previously written. This is a story circled around two groups of friends. When the quad squad (plus DAGames *Quintic squad???*) move to LA, California, they thought they were escaping some psycho ex-girlfriends. Lewis, more commonly known online as Dawko, travelled with his four friends - Ryan (8-BitRyan), Baz (Bazamalam), Will (of DAGames) and Razz (Razzbowski) - to Alton Towers for a three-day holiday to give them all a break from the stress of YouTube and to have a relaxing break where they could spend time together outside of work. The Ego Sickness Trilogy is a collection of three books, following two groups of charecters, through one single intertwined story. Those charecters, for better or for worse, have met their ends. Some survived, relatively unscathed. Others survived with scars that would last them decades, both physically and mentally. Others bare burdens that they will never truly be rid of, doomed to live in torment. And the others? Well, I'm sure you know what happened to them, don't you? However, did it really have to end the way that it did? Could things have gone better? Perhaps they could have gone worse? Things could have turned out very differently, the story couldn't have had an end that is unrecognisable to the one which it has now. This book contains three main things. Simplistic summaries and in-depth looks at each book; charecter analysis and profiles, to document each and every single thing they had to experience, and all of the developemnt they went through before their deaths or escapes; and most importantly, a large collection of "what-if" scenarios, showing the same chapters from different charecter's perspectives, or rewritten chapters under different scenarios, inside of the same universe. There's the fairytale of a princess stowed away in a tower guarded by a fire breathing dragon. She prays and prays for a knight in shining armor to take her away from the wretched tower. Of course he slays the dragon, they ride into the sunset, and they live happily ever after. I despise those tales for gifting people false hope. There may not be any dragons in this word but be warned for there are monster who lurk. Teeth lusting to tear, claws craving to carve, and tongues silver with lies. Same goes for those praying for that knight to magically make their monster disappear. Only for their whales of despair to be met with the harsh truth of silence. It's vexing not being able to tell them 'someone is looking for you' and 'I'm almost there, stay strong'. I'm no knight by any stretch but I'm all these lost souls have for a chance of surviving. Blessed with divine forgiveness I'm armed with the ability to hear their pleas. At any moment my mind will be flushed with their screeching, cries, and whispers of hell. Bound by a gods curse to save those who called for my help or have their suffering broadcasted into my head until their demise.
