Erik Nordstrom, a grade 12 student at his local high school, moved to Canada at the age of 15, just in time to start grade 10. Although he was fairly good at most things, he didn't have any amazing talent, nor did he fit in with any of the cliques. This left him feeling as if he was always the odd man out. A feeling made worse by the teasing he was forced to endure at school. Erik turned to virtual reality games to fill the void in his social life, and found himself becoming quite good at them. His avatar, Orion, became a legend in the gaming community, known for clearing VRMMORPGs in record time without a single death. When Erik receives a strange email asking him to participate in the beta test for a game that doesn't seem to exist, his intrigue outweighs his suspicions, and he accepts the invitation. This was how Erik was brought to the world of the VRMMORPG Eternia, and how he became involved in events far more important than he could've imagined.
