Miguel O'Hara is toppled from power and ousted from the Spider-Society permanently for his actions against Miles Morales and his companions. Miguel is unable and soon realizes he does not want to retaliate. With those thoughts in mind he reluctantly leaves the Spider Society Headquarters, forever closing that chapter of his life. Cue to years later, he decides to still play his part as Spider-Man and has returned to his original line of work as a Geneticist like in his past just lower in ranks within another company. One day he meets a woman- particularly out of his field of work on a rainy afternoon And he keeps seeing her, they get close. Realizing his past could come to bite him- he needs to tell her the truth. He did, and he made a promise to her:
