In 1965, a seventeen girl gets admitted to St. Mary's Mental Institution for multiple reasons. Her therapist gives her a writing journal to help her during her stay at St. Mary's with writing. This tells the story of a girl and the three teenage patients that she meets. TW: Dark themes such as suicide, extreme depression, self harm, body issues, anorexia, inhumane methods of treatment, mistreatment, violence, homophobia, transphobia, etc. I will not go into too much detail with these and I probably won't do some of these that are mentioned but just in case.
