What if you could live 10 different lives? Stuck as the cause of a messy relationship break between her parents and unable to trust herself enough to stand out in school, Nicole Thorn is skeptical when her long-time crush, an elusive jock named Noah Murdock, asks her out. Much as she wants to believe he actually likes her, she can't shake a gut feeling-and so she enforces the help of her eccentric and spontaneous beautician mother to transform herself into nine other girls and pop up into Noah's life. What starts as a way to prove her boyfriend's loyalty turns into a dangerous trap as Nicole becomes addicted with the thrill of being someone else and escaping the problems that sit like weights upon her shoulders every day. Soon she's realizing things that were better left not knowing and severing all the relationships she ever had, and she can't find a way out other than finding a way to be confident with who she really is.
