His father died just a few months ago, his relationship with Dana is on the fritz, and to add to it all he's currently the Batman/ the personal assistant of an elderly Bruce Wayne. Ladybug In Gotham (crossover fic)
(FINISHED) Miracoulus Ladybug and Batman crossover. Marinette Dupain-Cheng x Damian Wayne Marinette is abandoned by her friends after Lila's threath. Most of them at least. Adrien is forced to try his best to keep Lila happy at the threath of his father pulling him out of school but sneaks of with Marinette when he can. And she became friends with Chloe after the blonde tried her best to be a better person. Other than them her only friends are Luka and Kagami. After four years of Hawkmoth threathing everything they hold dear and praying on every negative emotion the young heroes are tired and weary. The stakes have slowly risen with every battle and even with the Lucky Charm cure they can longer ignore the aches of wounds that aren't there. When Marinette gets the class a trip to Gotham she isn't sure what to expect. However she can say for sure she didn't expect to attract the attention of a certain vigilante/billionaire family. Big brother Jason and little sister Marinette Todd are not normal people, but have a dangerous secret: they are werewolves. Separated at a young age while living in the streets of Gotham, the Todd siblings fight to survive in a world where everyone hates half-blood hybrids like them. Jason's adoptive family, the Wayne's, have no idea about anything of Jason's past or dark secret, while Marinette's adoptive family, the abusive Dupain-Cheng's, know everything and hate her for it. As a result of their hatred of Marinette, the bakers forbid her to go out as her wolf or tramsform, and they do not take care of her by any means, only making her life terrible to the point where she's afraid of herself. Then Lila comes and makes her life even more of a living hell to where she wants nothing to do with life and is as broken as anyone can come, especially when the class finds out her secret and are always hunting her down. Mari eventually has had enough with Paris, so she runs away and leaves the country, running back home to Gotham, where she lives on the streets and is quickly having people hunting her for money and her fur. Will Marinette find Jason and be saved? Will he be able to help his little sister, or will they both have to depend on the Kent family for protection against Gotham and Paris? There is no hawkmoth or kwamis. So everyone has turned on Marinette believing Lila's lies. Adrien is a jerk and doesn't defend Marinette basically saying that the liers feelings are more important than his friends. Marinette moves on from them but them being the idiots they are continue to bully her. They demand that she continues to give her free stuff. Then they push it too far getting Marinette akumatised. What will they do with no ladybug to purify the akuma. Will Chat Noir still keep his miraculous. Heartbreak, crushes no more, friend loss are all in this book.
