Learned about World War I? I did, and I know about what led up to the start of the war and what sparked it: the assassination of one man.
Archduke Francis Ferdinand, heir to the Austria-Hungary throne, was assassinated.
On that day in Sarajevo, Bosnia, June 28th, 1914 the death of one man and his wife set in motion one of the world's bloodiest wars and the world's bloodiest time period.
This is a fictional short story from his point of view.
