An ancient prophecy that the trident that was once held by the goddess of their waters will choose someone new to become the ruler of the waves was lost through the generations and soon seen as a piece of myth by the people of Lixan. A young boy, Asher Huxley, who has always been interested in mythology and has always been one with the water decides to go to see if this prophecy is true, by finding the lost Trident, but there are others who will also take liking to this prophecy...... but the Trident might be choosing a new heir sooner than we thought..... (btw I made up everything in this, this is not real mythology)

The First in the old Series! As the 21st century continues, Mankind is completely unaware of a whole other world that shares the planet with them. A world deliberately concealed for both of their sakes. A world mankind has forgotten. A world of magic. Ayda is a girl living in a world where, the second you're born, you are born with a prophecy that explains the main course your life will take. And biggest of all, there is a prophecy of a hero who will come from another world to save their's. He hasn't come yet, but everyone is waiting. Ayda is 17, and living on the streets with a 13 year old boy named Rio. Scared of dying from starvation, she asks a lone sailor if she and Rio can travel on his boat with him, and travel around the nearby Islands, which are filled with creatures of all kinds, like sea creatures and giants. Very quickly the trio get a job trying to collect seven treasures, and Ayda is more than happy to do it since it will help repay the sailor who (begrudgingly) let them live on his boat. But while this trio doesn't get along at first, as they travel the world, they start to like and depend on each other. Which is exactly what they'll need to do when their world that originally only suggested you listen to your prophecy suddenly starts turning against those that don't. The only problem is, Ayda doesn't want to listen to her prophecy. Because if she does, she's destined to die..Complet
