Oathkeepers

CYRA is what one could call a criminal. She roams the streets of the Empire of Juramen, working in the shadows and eliminating those who cross her. Of course, no one knows her name. The Blistering Blade is only known for two things: fighting dirty and odd requests.

But unrest is brewing in the Empire's capital. The Keeper of the Oath of Strength has mysteriously passed away. And Cyra is one of the two candidates selected by the magical Stone of Juramen to replace the dead Keeper- and face the Durability Trials.

Winning means fame, comfort, and power. Elimination yields certain death. Can Cyra manage to survive past the Trials? Or will she blister, burn, and reduce to ashes?

The Empire of Juramen is ruled by promise. Every emperor and empress since the birth of the empire has pledged the Oath, ensuring by blood and magic that the empire is ruled with strength, knowledge, art, industry, justice, and health.

The emperors and empresses aren't the only ones running Juramen. In the Stone Compound, built around the Stone of Juramen, six Oathkeepers bind their souls to the Stone, becoming intertwined with the fate of the empire.

Using their extraordinary talents, the Oathkeepers are the very backbone of the empire. But how could the Oathkeepers hold together the seams of Juramen when they themselves are falling apart?
