She took this as a opportunity to sneak up behind a tree.. Fear.. Anticipation.. and even some Pride kicking in as she stares at the walker from behind the thick branch of the tree, the roots and wet moss making her balance a little shoddy. A drip of sweat dripped down her face which was scratched, bloodied, and probably had dirt on it. As she approached the walker, who now, sensed her present by smell, turned around before being shot by a arrow through the head.

She was taken back by shock, though it was hard to tell as everything she felt was.. Dull.. the cold air numbing her every limb.

There stood a man with a tall build, and broad shoulders; he had short brown hair and carried a crossbow in his hands.

I picked up every article of clothing as I heard the water streaming from behind the curtains. Folding her clothes near where she kept her shoes, I stripped off my clothes and stepped into the shower with her. My hands wrapped around her waist, as I stuck my face in the crook of her neck. I started to do a trail of kisses up to the back of the ear. The tension on her shoulders started to break slowly as I kissed each inch of her skin. I'd been so worried about how she is mentally doing since the death of Lori. She hadn't processed much after the little nugget was birthed. She jumped into action immediately after, coming with me to get formula, and didn't stop until we got back to our mattress. She didn't sleep much, and I followed her out as she let out what she had been holding all day. I also have been holding back something for the past couple of weeks. And I want to be able to tell her, but with everything going on, I'm not sure when it's the appropriate time. Hell, the words have never been formed in my mouth. Not even with my brother. So instead of talking verbally, I let myself speak physically. Her body turned to me, giving me a heated kiss. When I pushed her to the wall of the bathroom, it was game over for both of us. - - - The Walking Dead AU Daryl Dixon x OFC 𝐁.𝐃.𝐃. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐜 (𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝟏)

Surviving was never easy, but with Sid, she had a reason to try. Now he's gone, and Amara is left drowning in solitude, haunted by a hunger she refuses to indulge. Starving herself. Burying her instincts. Fighting against the monster she was made to be: A Vampire. But the world doesn't care if she suffers. The world doesn't care if she's alone. Then, she sees it-the explosion at Terminus, fire licking at the sky. In the chaos, she catches a glimpse of them. Rick Grimes' group. Survivors. Fighters. People. For the first time in years, she follows. Tracks them to Alexandria. She tells herself it's just for supplies. A place to rest. But the truth is, she's desperate. She's tired of surviving. She wants to belong. Now, weeks into life inside the walls, she's struggling to find her place. To them, she's just another survivor. A stranger. But she knows the truth can't stay buried forever. Trust is fragile, and hunger is relentless. And Daryl Dixon? He doesn't trust easily. And there's something about Amara that doesn't sit right with him. But the more he watches her, the more he starts to wonder- Is she the real threat? Or is she just as lost as the rest of them? - Daryl Dixon X Female OC Content Warning: This story is rated Mature and contains graphic depictions of all kinds (including regular Walking-Dead-type violence, death, blood, possible mental health issues, and explicit adult content).
