This is a story inspired and based on the article "El Travestismo en Lima: de la colonia a la república" by Oscar G. Pamo Reyna, which studies a pamphlet found in the early nineteenth century that tells a short story as a social satire of the time, as it includes the clashes of a homosexual and an old sacristan and the preparations of a group of drag queens for the festival of Amancaes, a traditional celebration of Lima at that time.
The setting is the city of Lima, Peru, 1814-1821. A deep and long research was made to ensure that all references and descriptions are completely correct.

The city Louis grew up in prides itself on its live music culture and Louis and his group of friends love nothing more than being right in the middle of it. Nights out on the piss rarely fail to provide stories to laugh about for months. He loves the opportunity to listen to live music, but the largest draw for Louis and his friends is the endless eye candy and, when the opportunity arises, a hook up for at least someone in the group. Okay, bear with me. As much as I love Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice as a representation of that time era, as a feminist, I couldn't find myself writing a story where women's life goal is to marry rich and to look pretty. I couldn't turn it into a Larry story either since homosexuality was illegal. So I compromised and made an alternative universe where gay is okay and women have free will. It's a fictional time before cars and phones but with a less strict society. Are you with me? I used the basic storyline from the novel and even added the dialogue from the novel. Louis is Lizzie. Harry is Mr. Darcy. Niall is Mr. Bingely. I thought about making Zayn Mr. Wickham but I couldn't be that cruel so Mr. Wickham is Mr. Wickham. Haha.Concluida

@Kitania_34 tagged me in a fic by the talented @danielpawelthelarry and asked us to make a Larry fanfiction baby. 😂😘 We co-wrote this story and it was so much fun. I had this idea for a while but it was so interesting not knowing what the other person would write instead of writing both sides for myself. In 2018 Harry and Louis have a hard time making things work between them. They fight nonstop and Harry drags them to a couples therapist in one last, desperate effort to save their relationship. Since he's going to the States for a month their new therapist suggests that they will write letters to each other, one each day. Will writing save their relationship?
