A 4 year old boy stared at what was across from him. His father and mother within his grasp, yet at an unreachable distance. Was this a dream? Or a future yet undecided?
Two roads appeared below his feet. Showing a path either to his father, or mother.
The mother, surrounded by the warm rays of the light, kneeled on the floor, powerless to change her childs possible decision.
The Father, engulfed by a darkness so great it made even the heavens tremble before him. A wide grin plastered on his face, seemingly confident of what the child would choose.
The poor, poor boy. A decision that would change the so-called inevitable future. He himself holds an untold experience yet to be seen until now.
What will remain? What will change? There is only 1 thing that will be made clear to you.
The boy had made his decision, a seemingly harmless option to his eyes, that caused the darkness to consume the very light that tried to protect him from the horrors behind that sinister grin.

"So when's the wedding?" The mother of the boy jokingly asked the two. Her face immediately becoming a bright shade of pink, (Y/N) looked at the woman in bewilderment. The boy on the other hand smiled brightly and opened his mouth to answer before going comically still, fully comprehending what his mother meant. Thoroughly flustered, his entire face turned as red as a rose. (Y/N) and Deku have been close friends ever since they can remember. Making a promise to be there for each other always, through thick and thin. Broken Mask
Deku got tired of hiding all of his emotions under a mask. Tired of keeping a smile on his face despite being constantly beaten up and ridiculed. He'd kept his mask up for so long that it was fragile as glass. The day it broke was a tragic one for his old "friend" and mother, but became a beautiful opportunity for him. The villains saved him. The villains were his family. The villains helped him put on a different mask. He was getting back at all the people who'd ridiculed him... or was he? I'll try to put trigger warnings on specific chapters, but here are some general triggers that will be in most/all of them: strong language(mainly just cussing), attempted suicide/suicide mention, depressed thoughts/actions Cover art: credit to BlueWolfArtista on deviantart! (Y/N) Nanase, known to many as a sick, bedridden child that may never see the outside world. Due to her unknown sickness, she wasn't allowed to leave her room without a nurse at her side. Many believed that she could have been a great hero if it wasn't for her sickness, and (y/n) believed that too. One day, she got tired of being encased inside the walls that blocked her from the outside, and asked a nurse to let her see around the hospital. In the lobby, she meets a young boy who was going with his mother to check what his quirk was, and they later became friends. The boy, each day, visited the girl of the same age. At 14 years of age, both children became best friends, developing feelings for each other, though they were unbeknownst of the other's feelings. At some point, however, the boy came crying to the girl, telling her how he wanted to become a hero, but due to his quirklessness, he didn't know what to do. The girl looked at the crying boy that she held dearly in her heart, and said... Endless. Without end. Going onwards forevermore. Beings beyond time, beyond space, they see all and so they cannot interfere. They are, in mortal terms, gods. But they, in their wisdom, do not play god. They are too much for the worlds, so they created beings closer to mortality. A compromise between the Endless and the mortals. *** It starts much like many other stories: with missing children, four of them to be exact. It ends, unlike most other stories, with a being born of Death and Darkness. This is a BNHA (or MHA) story, with an additional layer of something mystical.
