This is an adaptation of the original Thunderbirds series, created by Gerry Anderson. It will feature short stories, some of which will be faithful adaptations of episodes, some will be based on episodes, and some will be entirely original, but may have elements of episodes as inspiration. Gerry Anderson's SUPERMARIONATION television series Thunderbirds was made between 1964 and 1966 and was an instant smash hit when the series first transmitted in Autumn 1965. This British cult classic was rooted in themes of technology to provide an action-packed and thrilling series. The fears and predictions based on science saw the series preoccupied with the developments of the Space Race and the Cold War. This special project dedicated to my studies was embedded to explore the impact Thunderbirds had on society and culture to 1960s Britain. This is an insightful investigation into the themes of science and technology of Thunderbirds, influenced by contemporary British concerns such as themes to class and gender. Having worked on this project for many months, I aim to provide a fresh and scrutinous outlook on this legendary television series that captivated audiences ever since the 1960s. Under no circumanstances is this project to be copied in any way without consent of the author or supervisor from the school of University this was produced for. The island also houses the futuristic vehicles created by Ray "Brains" Hackenbacker. But while Jeff is on a mission in space, his nemesis, The Hood, invades Tracy Island. The Hood plots to use the island's technology for evil, and only Jeff's son, Alan, and his daughter Cyra can stop him.

With the ever increasing advancement of technological developments and space travel possibilities available within the late 21st century, a new space project has undertaken the task of sending probes deeper and deeper into outer space to gain snapshots and a greater understanding of the universe upon a far superior magnititude. The Pangaea project uses spacecraft that disperse unmmaned satellite probes to capture samples, knowledge, and images for space research. Controlled by the International Space Command, the Gamma launch starts remarkably well. However, when chaos and sabotage strikes the Pangaea Gamma, International Rescue are once again called in to rescue the astronauts of the project. Threatening to target a rural mining town, the Pangaea probes aboard the vessel begin to malfunction and threaten to cause havoc within the sky and across the target. The Thunderbirds quickly launch to aid in the Pangaea emergency, but the project continues and a second launch, Pangaea Upsilon commences operation. Once the second Pangaea goes awry, greater disaster takes place... As men go missing, explosive disasters and waste threaten lives, and mining towns threaten with large-scale destruction, International Rescue prepare for one of their most important assignments.
