After a magnitude 9.8 earthquake devastated the area, horrifying tourists and locals, all three reactors malfunctioned and detonated with a powerful shockwave, forcing the project to be relocated. Over 120,000 people were killed and 200,000 were left injured in the unprecedented aftermath. However, this was not the first time Hawaii had experienced a reactor incident. One survivor was Sean Harris who lost his family 15 years ago.
