Now struggling as a young adult; she's a part of an indie-folk band that hasn't quite taken off yet, her boyfriend of ten years has ran off and her gigs keep getting cancelled. Aria wonders if she even has any talent at all and contemplates if she should just quit everything now. Retreating with her band to Paris for vacation, her drummer, Christopher signs Aria up for an audition to sing at the opening night of the newly renovated theater that was once the old Opera Populaire.

What happens when upon arrival, Aria begins to have visions and dreams of the past? What secrets will she unmask?

"Christine..." The man's voice was inside my head, pleading to be heard.

"I'm not Christine."

Sophia's picture-perfect life―rife with wealth, charm, and promise―shattered in an instant when a fatal truck accident claimed her life. Yet fate, or rather the pages of her most beloved R-19 erotic romance, had a different design in store. Reborn as Avangéline De Beaumont, the breathtaking noble daughter of the Marquess of Beaumont in England, she finds herself ensnared in a treacherous narrative where her end is already scripted-a doomed chandelier accident ignited by the Phantom's fury. Determined to defy destiny and escape her fated demise as a mere side character, Avangéline embarks on a daring mission: to rewrite the Phantom's tormented future so that the story's doomed heroine-destined to fall for him―will unmake his tragic path. But as her carefully orchestrated plan begins to unravel, an unexpected passion awakens within her. The dangerous allure of the Phantom―with smoldering eyes and an enigmatic presence―sparks a forbidden desire that threatens to consume her every scheme. In a world where each whispered secret and stolen, fevered moment challenges fate itself, will Avangéline cling to her meticulously laid plans for survival? Or surrender to an all-consuming passion that might shatter the very fabric of her new life? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Note: Chapters 1 to 9 are currently under revision. *OLD STORY* As a writer, Emma knows better than anyone that characters exist to suffer. Her motto has always been "Help the plot, hurt the characters." That changes when, after being knocked unconscious in a dreadful car accident, she wakes up in a world that's not her own; a world where all her dreams come true. Unfortunately, not all dreams are good ones. And the opera ghost? Well, that wasn't exactly one of her best dreams. Now that the characters are as real to her as she is, is she still willing to advance the plot at their expense? Does she even have the power to make that decision? The song says she'll live as she's never lived before; surely that's true, but is it a good thing? That's up to her.
