Nowhere Girl

Sixteen-year-old Maya is the youngest of four siblings and is brought up by her mother and father. Early on in her life, however, she discovers that she is not her parents' natural child; as the result of a series of strange errors, her parents were sent home from hospital with Maya rather than the baby her mother actually gave birth to. Maya's feverish imagination leads her to speculate on the possibility that the swap was not accidental at all, but part of a secret genetic experiment.
