There are no respawn mechanisms. - The backstories for each character are based around events that happened in Season 6, which might not be relevant in seasons to come. - The total word count for this story is 49,001. It was originally published on October 16, 2019. - I try to mention each Hermit at least once, but I might have missed some. DISCLAIMER: This book does hint at a bit of shipping. I write ships based on the Hermits' Minecraft personas and not their actual IRL selves. None of this content is meant to offend anyone, it's purely a writing hobby. After Martyn gets threatened to take the blame for something he didn't do, he realises he needs to make some allies. It's harder than expected. Etho discovers that the island is in a zombie apocalypse, and the three roomies decide they have to warn the rest of the land. This is a story based on session 7 of the Minecraft SMP Secret Life. All players are the same as the SMP. There is a POV from every character in the SMP. This contains no swearing and no romantic plot. (also the cover is atrocious I apologise)

For sure, Double Life left a dent in Scott and Pearl's friendship, but they were still the best of friends in the end (after much apologies). But Double Life ruined his relationship. Scott was most obviously angry at Tango, and Jimmy (a lot). But Scott can't show that. He can't show that he still cared about Jimmy, he can't show that it destroyed him that he chose Tango, he can't show that he still cared. But Scott is Scott, isn't he? OR; 5 times Scott hid his feelings, 1 time he let it slip.
