"You talk too much elf-boy," Arya muttered, her voice hoarse from all the screaming she had done due to the pain of her injuries. Legolas scrunched up his nose in disdain of the nickname, but a smile soon found his way onto his face. "I am not a boy." Her eyes opened then, and her familiar hazel eyes met his striking blue ones. A small smile made itself present on her face as she looked at him, a twinkle of mischief evident in her eyes. "No. You are not." ¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨ Arya woke up some years ago with a grey-haired wizard leaning over her. She had no memories, no indications that told her who or what she was. With the outer appearances of an elf, but eyes that flash orange and strange symbols that appear on her skin - no one seems able to tell her anything about her past. She joined the quest of Thorin's dwarven company to have something to do, and she quickly became a part of their group. After a long and arduous journey but still a far away from the mountain they stumble into trouble. And whom is there to save her, but a certain Mirkwood prince with long blond hair and a pair of startling blue eyes. With one of them bursting with light, and the other filled with darkness their story will be anything but easy. Of Love Tales and Rabbit Tails by SilviaKrpatova
39 parts Ongoing
After six years in a progressive French boarding school, eighteen-year-old Lady Alice returns to her family's estate in Surrey, dreading the fate that awaits her-- debutante balls, an arranged marriage, and a life she does not want. She would have preferred to stay in France, teaching and writing love tales rather than living one dictated by others. Once cast aside by her own father and a stepmother, Alice finds their sudden desire for reconciliation hollow. Only her childhood best friend, Michael, Marquess Lovelace, seems like a true comfort. But as she settles back into her former home, something strange begins to happen. A black rabbit, eerily familiar, appears in the shadows-- just like the one that belonged to Edmond, her long-forgotten imaginary friend. And then she meets Count D'Arcy, the enigmatic and elusive neighbour whose presence unsettles her. His eyes, his voice, his very being remind her of Edmond. Could it be him? Or is her mind playing tricks on her? As the social season unfolds, Alice finds herself tangled in a web of mystery, romance, and the supernatural. The past and present blur, forcing her to question what is real, what is illusion, and whether love can exist beyond the bounds of reason. In the haunting halls of her childhood home and under the watchful gaze of Count D'Arcy, Alice must uncover the truth before she loses herself to the unknown. ~~~ My entry for the ONC 2025 based on the prompt 105: Your childhood imaginary friend, who disappeared years ago, suddenly returns - only this time, they're real.

Love wasn't on the agenda for hot-tempered 16-year-old Leora Aren of Etheria...until she meets demon prince Samael Mahazael of the Barrens and human prince Erik Ingolf of Agnar. At a gathering meant to reaffirm the alliances between their three kingdoms, she protects the awkward, emo Samael from being bullied by the handsome, accomplished Erik, and Samael and Leora's relationship quickly blossoms into first love. This devastates Erik, who's smitten with Leora, and makes him a perfect pawn for his cold, scheming father. Together, father and son set off a chain reaction that leads to destroyed alliances and broken hearts. During a five year separation, Samael, Leora, and Erik have worked hard in different ways to overcome the pain caused by the rift, and have all taken on responsibility none of them thought possible. They finally reunite in Etheria, which leads to confrontation and the discovery of ancient ancestral magic that will either destroy or save them, as long as they want to be saved.
