In a world destroyed by war and nuclear blasts, humanity is left to fend for itself among the ruins. Genome tests during the almost 2-decade long war made it nearly impossible for humans to survive. The Gene Altered People (GAPs) near the blast sites, if they weren't destroyed, were turned into something far worse than death. 

Eli Hendricks is our protagonist, and he belongs to Blackwell Church, one of the factions that have sprung up in the aftermath of the destruction. Eli's faction has managed to carve out a life in one of the less radioactive areas, but it's not an easy life. Resources are scarce, and tensions run high between different factions.

Eli meets Sam, a former member of the Wolf Pack, and they start as strangers. However, as they get to know each other, their relationship grows from friendship to something more. But Sam's past comes back to haunt him when his old faction tracks him down and puts everyone in Blackwell Church in danger.All Rights Reserved
