Dragons are vile, dragons are wicked, dragons are evil, and above all dragons are dangerous. Everyone knows this, so did Lynwood, son of the local woodsman. He had read enough about dragons to know of their terror and danger and that they must be killed on sight. Not like he had anything to fear, dragons have long become extinct .....or have they? 

When sudden peril comes to the simple woodsman home and Lynwood's father is arrested with the accusation of plotting against the king, Lynwood and his sister have to flee into the mountains with a mysterious letter that must be taken to the king's nephew. It is there that Lynwood will discover that dragons are not so extinct after all. 

Lynwood will find himself tangled in the sticky web of politics, and his one key to getting himself and everyone else out of it will be to put aside his prejudice and come to see dragons for what they really are.

"I'm fond of you, too," he whispered in her ear. <><><><><><><><> Skylar lived her life in fear. Fear of exposure, fear of herself, and fear of her future. As a princess and heir to the kingdom, her future was daunting enough. The fact that she turned into dragon and would be killed if anyone found out made it all the worse. So, Skylar lived in constant conflict with the beast within her, all while training to be queen one day. When a fellow king discovers her secret, she is forced to flee or put her entire family in danger. When she meets Orion, the Alpha of a dragon clan, he helps open up a whole new world to her. In this new world, Skylar discovers who she is supposed to be and what she's been hiding from. She finds the beauty of her beast and a love she only ever dreamed of. But then her new world is threatened. It becomes a matter of kill or be killed, so Skylar's new family, with the help of her old, must rise to the challenge to defeat this threat. Or risk the extinction of her kind.

The Lost Life of Laraine by BearGoRawr

She lead a rather tragic life. The black sheep of her family due to her lack of affinity for fire. Her affinity was quite the opposite. Water in fact. Already in a time when women did not really have much political power or rights, she was outcasted by her family despite being of nobility. Still allowed to live in the distant west wing of the massive Grand Duke's manor, she has never eaten a single meal with her family nor extended family, and has spent her loneliness in her books and sword lessons. Although only taught by the head butler and one of the low ranked knights of the family, she was quite bright and if her family would have given her a chance she would have done great things. If only she didn't die at such a young age. Married off to some "hero" of sort that had slayed the Dragon of the North who was terrorizing the land and threatened the kingdom, this hero also had an affinity for fire and held her in disdain like the rest of her family. Suddenly a girl of another world was transported to their world, picked up by this hero and put into his secure care. The pair soon fell for each other despite the hero's marriage, and many believed Laraine got jealous of this girl of mystery, and tried to kill her. This was definitely not true. But because the girl was favored by the temple and kingdom Laraine was quickly arrested and put on trial. You can probably tell what happened to Laraine. But something strange happened the day of her execution. As soon as her decapitated head hit the ground the sky turned blood red and it began to rain fire. No one survived that day. But for some reason time went back, and Laraine was back to being a child, but with no memory of her future. There were select few in her life, however, that remembered her tragedy and now perhaps will take action to prevent it. NOTE: I'M AWARE THERE ARE A LOT OF INCONSISTENCIES. IT WILL BE EDITED SOME DAY BUT RIGHT NOW I'M JUST TRYING TO FINISH IT.

She talked about how pleasant they were to the eyes,she told me of their tanned skin,their eyes that looks like fire. It was amazing but when i asked her if she had met one she said NO. I smirked " and you expect me to believe you?" I had said but what am i to do,i had no idea i was destined to MEET MY DRAGON, Ah am sorry mother,i have doubted you all these years. My name is Rain,an ordinary girl trying to get by in Azural,the city of dragons as it is popularly known,my parents are not of noble status, My father is just a simple farmer while my mother spends all day at home,cooking,weaving clothes or cleaning with my twin sister Raven as for me,ah! The nun assumed that his parents or parent left him there to be safe. So she took him into the orphanage where until age 10 he was adopted by the Hyoudou family. Host of one of three heavenly dragons and a power buried deep inside him waiting to burst out. Let's see how it goes!! Well sorta. But this is gonna follow the plot line and try to develop the character, relationships, power and other stuff at a decent rate. I hope you like it.
