Sang was a foster child in the care of the Henshaws' a few years before Corey and Brandon left the home. She watched how the parents alienated Corey and Brandon stepping in to take the brunt of their anger. Sang knew what it was like to have parents hate you, even for small infractions that were beyond your control. She encouraged Corey to leave, knowing it would leave her alone once again, but it was for the best. The Henshaws' were nice to her, but once the boys left, it turned ugly. Once again she was taken from her home and delivered to a new family. She never forgot the boys with oceans in their eyes. One the calm, steady waters that you want to wade into. The other, the storm, you think you could handle the dangers but before long you're sucked into the undertow and struggling for the surface. When a chance encounter brings her back into contact with the boys she had missed for the last several years, Sang has to make a decision that will change the rest of her life. Is it worth taking a chance? Not only on the boys, but on love as well?

Sang loved her boys, she thought they loved her back. The Blackbourne Team has received a new mission worth enough favors to pull them completely out of debt, after that disaster of a mission at Ashley Waters. There's only one condition. No outside contact what so ever for the undetermined amount of time the mission would take. The Blackbourne Team reluctantly accepts the mission, leaving their family and their bird behind without a goodbye, unaware that she's fallen hard for each of them. And when she realizes they aren't coming back, in a very Sang like fashion, she hits the ground and bounces back. Now determined to live her life without them, Sang decides to take matters into her own hands and cashes in on an old favor.
