Sang was a foster child in the care of the Henshaws' a few years before Corey and Brandon left the home. She watched how the parents alienated Corey and Brandon stepping in to take the brunt of their anger. Sang knew what it was like to have parents hate you, even for small infractions that were beyond your control. She encouraged Corey to leave, knowing it would leave her alone once again, but it was for the best. The Henshaws' were nice to her, but once the boys left, it turned ugly. Once again she was taken from her home and delivered to a new family. She never forgot the boys with oceans in their eyes. One the calm, steady waters that you want to wade into. The other, the storm, you think you could handle the dangers but before long you're sucked into the undertow and struggling for the surface. When a chance encounter brings her back into contact with the boys she had missed for the last several years, Sang has to make a decision that will change the rest of her life. Is it worth taking a chance? Not only on the boys, but on love as well?

Selene's New Moon
An Academy/ Ghost Bird Fanfic. Inspired by the characters and story by C.L. Stone. This story contains characters that are similar to the Ghost Bird ones , but not quite the same. The world looks like ours to the general public, but hidden in the shadows are horrifying creatures and the extraordinary humans who hunt them. Selene does not look anything like her parents and her eyes are uncanny- leaving her parents unsettled. Especially since they never wanted a child anyway. As she grows, she asks about things no one else can see or feel - which only makes things worse. The world is much too dangerous for Selene- no one will understand and will only try to hurt her. She is hidden away in her parents' large and lonely house- for her own good of course. Her life changes forever though one late afternoon when she finds that her wooded backyard is no longer the sanctuary she has always counted on. She learns that the world is a terrifying place, but not for the reasons her mother has always given her.- But more importantly, 5 young men will show her that she truly is a treasure - one that they have been desperately searching for. Nine boys saved Sang from her abusive home. Nine boys loved her, and she loved them. But nine boys wouldn't let her learn to stand on her own two feet.
