"I have to-" "I know." Maquia replied calmly. They were good together. They fit. "I'll be back in 10 days. If there is any progress, write to me." "I will." They had gotten used it. Saying goodbye even though they didn't want to. Maquia and Sasuke loved. But they didn't want to. Because to them, loving meant being vulnerable and weak. And the world that they had lived in didn't allow them to be that. So they said farewell every time they felt that the distance they worked so hard to keep between them, began to shorten. They went away. Or made themselves busy. There were several intimate moments between them. Moments that would have given them the assurance and happiness that they had long since earned, if they were to give in. Give in. It was all they had to do. And they did. This is a story about a character I made up, Maquia. I don't like writing narrations a lot so there's a lot of dialogue in my writing. This entire story is just my attempt to bring this character to real life. And I want her and Sasuke to make sense so I will do my best to do that. Thankyou! Key.
