The planet Essaqrio is further developed than Earth, but not in a technicial way. Supernatural powers exist and humans mature earlier. 

The country Zyquenta has the eldest students (class-elders) keep their class under control and protect them, even with their life. This is called the Elder System. If an elder refuses, they will lose their title and the advantages of being a class-elder. Of course you won't give away your life for nothing in return.
