Never let this bough break
By james a. galgano
Within this humble bowe does break such horrid revelry
Abounding political diatribes seeking ill-gotten gains upon his brow
Why are those out there so quickly to judge based upon refuted conjecture?
Which seeks to arouse the worst within our wayward souls eternally?
To rally feckless souls to some fallen banner so defaming and impolite
Before all is known to remedy our dawns early light to the real truth
Like some biblical tale of Ruth, we gather like moths to some misbegotten flame
Yet when the dust most assuredly settles who will be left to apologize or explain
Why we so quick to judge then condemn when one is innocent until proven guilty.
What idle chatter accumulated will be recanted or disclaimed with needed disdain.
For all the persecution meted out for political gain. Has our nation become guileless?
Preoccupied by money media drivel drawn from unfound and unproven profundity.
Never let this bow break upon the mere foolishness of some political expediency
