MK was orphaned at a young age. He doesn't know why he's never felt normal, doesn't know why he's never fit in and he certainly doesn't know that his actual parents are Sun Wukong and Macaque. This is MK's journey through life, trying to figure out who he is, where he came from, and why his balance sucks. (Most of this is set at the beginning of the actual show except the first two chapters which are before. This is just an excuse to write my two favourite Monkey's being dad's to Mk basically. {Book 1!} Sun Wu Kong, known as the legendary monkey king, has somehow tricked The Six Eared Macaque that he can travel universes with his shadow portals, and Macaque believed him? He travels to a universe where his successor lies in. Anyways, back to Y/n, Y/n was just a normal 15 year old high school girl. She always stayed in another's shadow, wishing for something to lift her out and let her show her full potential. Now that she picked up Macaques staff, Macaque is forced to take y/n under his wing to train her and make her become his successor. This is the story of monkie kidssssss MOM! she the sweetest woman you ever met but piss her off and she will slam you deep into the earth core. she raised Mk on her own after finding Mk behind Pigsys noodle shop and has been protecting him for years. But how will she be able to protect him when he gets chosen to be the successor of monkey king, can she keep hiding her pain filled Past away from Mk? can she actually learn to forgive herself for her mistakes? can she finally be able to find love in someone? will she finally be able to defeat her greatest enemy? Successor AU (Monkie Kid story)
Plot: Mk, Mei, and Redson were all born in the same time period in this AU. So ancient China basically. Wukong raised Mk, Macaque raised Mei, and Nezha raised Redson. Wukong is sort of an obsessive yandere in this. His whole goal is to find wherever Macaque ran off to all these years. Macaque basically adopted Mei, even though he doesn't quite know how to be a parent. Nezha raised Redson, attempting to tame his firey anger and stray him from the path of villainy. What will happen when all of their paths collide? Find out when you read... I originally posted this on AO3. I decided to also post it here because AO3 has recently been quite buggy lately.. (HELLO! a lot of you know me from my CampCamp fanfic "Inmates" but guess what! Now I'm in a looot of different fandoms and I'm trying something New. Now of course this contains mature themes (y'all know me :3) buuut it'll also have some fluff ☺️ , angst, and just scenes I would imagine Wukong and Macaque would have.) (This is majority a Shadowpeach story, but other ones will be included) After the Lady Bone Demon was defeated there wasn't much to do for a while, so everyone was just chilling and being calm. Two Monkies, how ever, are trying to sort out their issues from the past. Every time they talk about it it gets heated, but maybe that's a good thing...
