James's shame

Narrow wooden paths that barely can stay together under visitors' steps and murky swamp water with a surface that reflects the dark sky: that's what it looks like by Pi's shack in Goldenhills Valley. Few people know of the witch's hidden lair- you're in luck if you don't know of it. James has never been especially lucky, sadly, he thought where he sat tightly tied up in front of a gurgling kettle. Someone slammed open the door so hard wooden chips came flying around the dimly lit room. Someone had come to his rescue.
