Krystal is a relatively normal girl. She wakes up, gets ready for school, does her homework and hands it in on time, eats dinner and goes to bed at a reasonable hour. Except at night, she's haunted by her worst nightmares, shadows and whispers following her even to her waking thought. Maybe sometimes, these dreams are really far off memories...

Shadow Town
A young adult fresh out of high school is feeling anxious and lost. In the heat of desperation she goes on a small camping trip to her favorite spot alone. She hopes to relieve herself of her stress and anxiety but when she gets there what ensues next is far from her intended relaxation. Is she spiraling into madness or is everything happening to her real? It's a strange life, indeed. ~~~~~ This piece is from my creative writing class. I was hoping I could share it with others who enjoy horror as much as I do. I am by no means an experienced writer, it's more of a hobby than an aspiration.
